My twenty-third fashion blog!

Good morning fashionistas!!!  It is beeeutiful out and the sweet sound and smell of spring is eminent.  So, to get you all inspired for spring (because I know I am ready to store my coat for the season,) I have, courtesy of Teen Vogue, the top ten spring fashions!!!!! YAY!!....spring! <3  
Okay, so the first is Earth Girl

Emma Watson wears this look perfectly.  I am a HUGE
fan of earth tones like browns, greys, whites, olives,
maroons, and blacks.  Her new line Fair Trade is all
about clothing that is conscientious of the environment. 
So not to sound too cliche, but for a new spin on fashion,
try going green!



























The second trend is all about Surf City!




Designers like Thakoon are soaking up the bright 
rays of this sunny, surfer look that has everyone talking at runway shows.  Try strechy material that 
gives off the wet suit look and tight slick-back 
hairstyles or tousled tresses.  






















The next look for spring is Innerwear as outerwear!


Instead of ruffles and lace as the stereotypical 
"innerwear" try out comfy cotton which is making a 
comeback thanks to designer Alexander Wang.  Pair it 
with chic classics and you've got a sporty sexy look 
ready for spring.

The fourth trend is a fashion crush on Alexa Chung!




Now I don't really ever watch Alexa Chung, but 
unless you've been living under a dense fashion 
rock for the past year, you can't help but notice this 
vibrant young lady and her keen sense of style.  I
must admit, I'm madly in love with her clothes!

Number five is all about Tough Love!




Eddie Borgo is stabbing onto the fashion scene with
his signature spike bracelets.  They give any outfit
a sense of rough toughness, (and they look 
REALLY cool, too!)

Number six on the list of spring trends is a little Foreign!




I've never really been into Converse, however with
this new duet of Missoni and Chuck Taylors, I 
can't help but take notice.  To mix and American 
classic with a, Italian designer is artistic genius! 

Coming in at number seven is The Model Designer




Reborn Process is a new store by model Hyoni 
Kang.   The concept is taking vintage or one-of-a-
kind pieces and reworking them to make available
to everyone.  Hyoni is my new favorite model, 
because she's actually thinking about her fans and 
customers!!!  Love her!

And number eight is the basic Denim Overalls!






This is such an overworked concept, that sometimes it's
good just to get back to basics.  Add a feminine blouse 
to make the look a little less butch! 

Nearing the end of our countdown, we come to The Model of the Moment!




Gracie Carvalho is the new "it" girl and at only 19,
she is turning into the new Gisele.  She's been 
modeling for two years in such shows as Hervé 
Léger and Ralph Lauren.  Already, Gracie is
turning heads and making a name for herself in the
fashion industry.

Last, but not least, is The Backpack Comeback!




I am truly thrilled about this trend, because I was a 
fan of it the first time around.  It is becoming the 
season's "it" bag!  And it's not really surprising, 
because they really are so cute and convenient
