My thirty-third fashion blog!

Now, I know I promised a low-down on the evolution of fashion over a year's time, but I was suddenly inspired by an old terry-cloth shirt of my mom's from the 70's.  This led me to the vibe and feel of Gilligan's Island.  Thus, I give you, A Gilligan Summer!  It's a mix of terry-cloth stripes, knotted ropes, salmon chiffon, men's denim shirts, leather and cork wedges and anchors.  Summer has officially begun, and it begins with a three hour tour! ;)

This is a new pair of wedges that I just bought, they are a work of art and I LOVE them <3..they give off a very 70ish vibe and remind me COMPLETELY of the glamourish Ginger, who always seemed to have something new to wear on the island!

The sailorish theme to this dress SCREAMED Skipper.  Paired with a men's (Miley Cyrus & Max Azria) shirt and glittery scarf, it really tone's down the outfit and gives it a fun, flirty flare!

Mary Ann was my favorite character, and this vintage, terry-cloth shirt (from my mom's closet) seems like it would have fit right into her wardrobe.  It looks adorable with short shorts and towering-high wedges!

Aaaahhh Gilligan, everybody's favorite dope of a character, but we love him.  And this chiffon shirt is a modern twist on his daily red-collared shirt.  Worn with a rope vest, this look is so fresh and summery I can't wait to wear it out!
