In this month's issue of Teen Vogue, the fashion feature was titled: Rebel Chic: Wild At Heart. It had a sort of punky, rockabilly, classic vibe. The models were fresh and different looking, bringing to life the rocker looks. I wasn't a huge fan of the fashion, however there were a few aspects of the spread that I liked. In this first shot, I love the dressy shorts paired with casual tennis shoes. It makes the look more young.
In the picture to the right, I ADORE the sweater. It has a preppy vibe, until you see the unexpected cutout back. It is bold and chic.
My third favorite spread is the one below to the left. The look is very feminine masculine. The
flowy skirt and shirt are balanced out with the unexpected leather cut off vest. Plus, the red bow adds an aspect of whimsy to the whole ensemble.
My last favorite is so cute. It is very rock and roll/ punk. It takes rocker leggings to the next level with a shiny black dress and record bag.
I think this spread takes some of the present trends and updates them even more, giving them a new spin and showing how you can pull off basics like leggings, vests, sweaters, and tennis shoes. Au revoir all! :)
